Intervention Records’ Nigel Lived First Pressing Run SOLD OUT!

Intervention Records is thrilled to announce that it has SOLD OUT the first pressing run of its 45-RPM vinyl reissue of Murray Head's Nigel Lived! A second run has been ordered from RTI and is expected in early 2018.

Released in September of 2017, Nigel is among Intervention’s fastest-selling titles to date. "Fortunately our retailers still have some stock," IR founder Shane Buettner said. “We’ll get it repressed and fill the back orders as quickly as we can." IR’s retailers include Acoustic Sounds, Amazon, Elusive Disc and a growing network of great independent record stores across the country. Intervention’s production policy dictates that new stampers are created by RTI every 500 copies, regardless of the stamper’s condition. This ensures that every single Intervention pressing boasts the same clean, detailed and dynamic sound quality the label is known for. Intervention’s reissue of Nigel Lived employed 100% Analog Mastering by Kevin Gray of CoHEARent Audio with the original master tapes as the audio source. Nigel’s legendary sound engineer Phill Brown provided the ¼” 15-ips tapes. Regarding Intervention’s reissue, Phill says, "It's as close to hearing the master tapes as you can get." As with all of Intervention Records premium vinyl releases, Nigel Lived was pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Record Technology Inc. in California and packaged in an amazing Old-Style gatefold jacket by Stoughton Printing.
