Soaking in the sounds of the city, and assembling a rhythmic line up of Sue Hadjopoulos (percussion), Larry Tolfree (drums) and keeping with Graham Maby on bass, and writing a simple set, honest, wonderful songs, this is the Joe Jackson masterpiece. An album remembered for its huge hit 'Steppin Out' - this has far more to it than meets the eye, incredible arrangements, some of the most touching moments ever ('Breaking Us In Two') and in 'A Slow Song' a creative highlight, this critical and commercial success deserves a place in any music hall of fame
A Strong Release

This still remains Joe Jackson's milestone release. Most likely due to the mix of catchy rhythms and wonderful piano work. Much of the music is upbeat and fun to listen to, even many years after being released.
